YASA VOB to AVI Converter 3.2

YASA VOB to AVI Converter is a software application to extract DVD contents and convert VOB to AVI format.
The program is useful for backing up DVD and saving it to the hard disk drive on the user local PC. It supports several different DVD types.

The application can convert VOB files to AVI, MPEG, MPEG1, MPEG2 and DivX video formats, as well as DVD to MPEG1 (VCD), MPEG2 (SVCD) and AVI-DivX video formats.

It allows user to extract (rip) video programs from DVD and create a video DVD library, to protect the original discs from being lost or from scratching them. And it also ensures that the DVD drive unit on the PC will last longer, since it is not necessary to play saved DVDs. The converted AVI video files can be played with any DVD player program (just like Windows Media Player, etc.). Another feature is the capability of making back ups from DVD movies (VOB) converted into MPEG, MPEG1/2, AVI/DivX, VCD or SVCD. This is accomplished with just a couple of mouse clicks.

The application supports batch file conversion from the conversion list without any user interaction, as well as 'drag and drop' operations from the Windows Explorer to 'move' DVD files to the conversion list.

Huge DVD contents can be saved into separated segment files by using the file split feature.
